Minnesota requires a state-approved prelicensing course (20 hours).
Agent Cloud is not a state-approved prelicensing course, so it won't meet that requirement. To meet it, we recommend XCEL Solutions. Use partner code Life2025 to get it for $50. You don't have to buy Agent Cloud. Many students add it for extra practice, plain-English lessons and the simulated exam.

Things people miss in Minnesota
#1 Certificate Validity
Unlike most states, Minnesota prelicensing certificates of completion do not expire.
#2 Proctored Exam
Final exams for online prelicensing must be monitored by a disinterested third-party proctor.
#3 Exam Scheduling
It is recommended to schedule both the state exam and fingerprinting at a PSI test center for efficiency.
