Ohio requires a state-approved prelicensing course (20 hours).
Agent Cloud is not a state-approved prelicensing course, so it won't meet that requirement. To meet it, we recommend XCEL Solutions. Use partner code Life2025 to get it for $50. You don't have to buy Agent Cloud. Many students add it for extra practice, plain-English lessons and the simulated exam.

Things people miss in Ohio
#1 Certificate expiration
Prelicensing certificates are valid for 180 days; you must pass your state exam within this window or retake the entire course.
#2 Online final exam affidavit
Online prelicensing courses require you to sign an affidavit certifying you completed the final exam without assistance.
#3 Fingerprinting vendor
Ohio uses FastFingerprints (Webcheck) rather than IdentoGO; verify your appointment is with a qualifying vendor.
